As
far as we know, this is a hybrid cross between Phractocephalus
hemioliopterus (Redtail Cat) and a Pseudoplatystoma species,
possibly P.corruscans, but more than likely P.tigrinum.
Hybrid: The progeny of two individuals belonging
to different species; the progeny of two individuals belonging
to different subspecies of the same species are not hybrids. |
