Habitat:
Found in rocky rapids of large rivers. C.
platyprosopos has the most southernly distrubution
for this genera. Colouration: Grey-brown
to brown, and may be marbled with black spotting.
Diet: Known to feed on fish. Adults
feed on fish while juveniles probably feed on small
invertebrates. Remarks:
This species is known as a gamefish in the fishing
fraternity.
